At The Ridge we provide a warm, supportive community in which each child is a valued member. Our space belongs to the children, with the teacher serving as a guide and mentor. We strongly believe that children learn best through hands on experiences and engagement in content that is meaningful to them. A child who learns because he is truly interested is a child who retains a deeper understanding of what he has discovered.

“Give the pupils something to do, not something to learn; and the doing is of such a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results.” - John Dewey
